Paul Is Hermes The Divine Trickster

Acts 14:12 Barnabas they called Zeus,
and Paul they called Hermes because he was the chief speaker.

“Paul is called Hermes in Luke’s book of Acts because heathen listening to Paul thought he was the Greek deity named Hermes.
Hermes was known for several things. He was the emissary and messenger of the gods. He was also considered the protector of human heralds, travelers, thieves, merchants, and orators. And of great significance is he was also regarded as “the divine trickster,”.

While the origin of the Greek deity Hermes is not certain, some scholars believe he is the Greek version of the Mesopotamian snake-god Ningishzida, also believed to serve as mediator between humans and the divine, especially Ishtar, and who was depicted in art as a Caduceus.
Now according to Wikipedia: The earliest form of the name Hermes is the Mycenaean Greek *hermāhās.

So Hermes is a variation of the name Hermas

This is very interesting since Yahusha warned Peter of a false teacher he calls Hermas in the non-catholic Canon writing known as the Coptic Apocalypse of Peter. It reads in part:

“And they praise the men of the propagation of falsehood, those who will come after you. And they will cleave to the name of a dead man, thinking that they will become pure. But they will become greatly defiled and they will fall into a name of error, and into the hand of an evil, cunning man and a manifold dogma, and they will be ruled without law. … Some who do not understand mystery speak of things which they do not understand, but they will boast that the mystery of the truth is theirs alone. And in haughtiness they shall grasp at pride, to envy the immortal soul which has become a pledge. …. But many others, who oppose the truth and are the messengers of error, will set up their error and their law against these pure thoughts of mine … that they may create an imitation remnant in the name of a dead man, who is Hermas, of the first-born of unrighteousness, in order that the light which exists may not believed by the little ones. But those of this sort are the workers who will be cast into the outer darkness, away from the sons of light. For neither will they enter, nor do they permit those who are going up to their approval for their release.”

Notice how Messiah’s prophecy here perfectly matches the manifold dogma/doctrine taught by Paul – who is a trickster like his kin, the Greek deity Hermes.”

Paul’s Personal Boasting About Being A Trickster

Romans 3:7 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?”

1 COR 12:16 Be that as it may, I have not been a burden to you. Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you by trickery!

Is this really the VERY BEST that God could have for us? VIA DECEPTION?

I would say that Paul can best be described as a High Ranking Babylon Mystery Religion (Currently Freemasonry) when we examine his words and his legacy.
