The God of the Old Testament Is The Same Spirit That Later Incarnated As Jesus
Dozens of appearances of God in the Old Testament, were the same spirit who years later would shoehorn into the newly growing fetus in the womb of mother Mary.
When reading the New Testament it is so obvious that Jesus is the God of the Old Testament.
There is only one true, universal God—the God of the Bible—and his Name is YHWH. YHWH is usually translated as LORD (all capital letters) in English translations of the Hebrew Bible, the Old Testament. Most complete Bible versions explain this translation in their forward.
Due to reverence for the holiness of God, Jews stopped saying God’s Name several hundred years BC, so the correct pronunciation of YHWH is uncertain. The Hebrew language doesn’t contain vowels, but we can assume that the first syllable of God’s Name is pronounced “Yah” because it’s found in the word Hallelujah. Hallelujah means “Praise the LORD” or, more correctly, “Praise YHWH”. Many Christians pronounce YHWH as “Yahweh”.
New And Old Testament Matching Verses
The fact that Jesus Christ is Yahweh can be easily proven when we compare the following Old Testament verses with their corresponding New Testament verses.
I AM
Exodus 3:14 – God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’
John 8:58 – “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
John’s Gospel quotes Jesus seven more times, claiming Himself to be “I am.” They include:
John 6:35 – I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 8:12 – I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
John 10:9 – I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
John 10:11 – I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
John 11:25 – I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.
John 14:6 – I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 15:1 – I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
Rev. 1:8 – I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Preparing The Way For The Lord
Isaiah 40:3 speaks of preparing the way for the LORD (Yahweh). Let’s compare this verse with Mark 1:3 to see that Jesus is the LORD who John the Baptist prepared the way for.
Whoever Calls Upon The Name of The Lord
Joel 2:32a – Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved
Acts 2:21 – Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved
Romans 10:13 – Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Isaiah’s Vision
He said, “Go and tell this people:
“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’
10 Make the heart of this people calloused;
make their ears dull
and close their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”
“He has blinded their eyes
and hardened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn—and I would heal them.
41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.
First And The Last
The LORD (Yahweh) refers to himself as “The First and the Last”, the same as Jesus is later referred to.
Isaiah 44:6 – “This is what the Lord says—
Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty:
I am the first and I am the last;
apart from me there is no God.
Revelation 1:8 – “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelation 1:17 – When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
Jesus Was Pierced
On 4 different occasions, the Bible mentions The LORD (Yahweh), and then Jesus, being PIERCED.
- Zechariah 12:10 “they will look on Me whom they have pierced“.
- Psalm. 22:16 they pierce my hands and my feet.
- John 19:34) one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear
- Revelation 1:7b “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”
No one took Jesus’ life, rather He laid down His life, since He was an immortal man the only way He could die was to have His blood drained out of His body.
In the first Key Restored on this site, we see that Jesus Christ existed before he came to earth, His spirit being squeezed into a human fetus.
Jesus Explained Himself
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. Luke 24:27
Worship God (Jesus) Alone
The Old and New Testaments both teach us that there is only one God and we are commanded to worship no other gods.
Exodus 20:3 – You shall have no other gods before me.
Philippians 2:10-11 – that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Revelation 5:12,13 – In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
Name Above All Others
As wonderful as Yahweh’s Name is, there is a name which has even grander in significance and importance:
Philippians 2:9-11 – Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. .
Nicene Creed
At the heart of the Nicene Creed are these words: “And [we believe] in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of His Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father … .”
Jesus, the begotten Son of God, was the same spirit as God of the Old Testament.

Well written. Super in a Christian outlook.
But I totally disagree with it. I have written a book
“Israel is the Messiah- truth hidden in the gospels revealed”
refuting this article. If you are interested to read/examine it
please write to daniel.benzion@gmail.com for its free pdf.
Charles Dobbs wrote about this book
“To all my Christian, Jewish and Muslim friends who see life as a journey back to our Creator, I highly recommend this book. I find it to be most profound, provocative and timely. Life’s “Long and winding road” has many hairpin turns with numerous deep and unforgiving potholes. This book will help put you on the smooth strait and narrow path back to the GOD of the Bible. Well worth the $5.00 on Amazon. It is truly a game changer.”
Tim Tim Wrote about this book:
“I have recently finished the book “Israel is the Messiah by Daniel Paul K. This is my second time reading it, and it is a work that has grown on me. When I read it the first time, I was not convinced of what he was attempting to convey. Upon reading it the second time, I think that it is a book that, even if you disagree, it is still worth your time to read it. I appreciate Daniel’s hard work and dedication and love him for the fact that he is not a missionary. If you have not read the book, check out “Israel is the Messiah.”
Mark Schuebel writes about this book:-
“Rarely, does a writer of a case for the underdog, especially in effort to bring peace along religious lines.
In This book , Daniel Paul does not just describe the rise and fall of a people but shows the rise, fall and resurrection of a people.
This people personifies the role of firstborn prodigal son, wife ,mother, divorcee who is repentant taken back by her estranged husband to find redemption. Daniel Paul’s novel takes us on a historic journey spanning millennia in a quest of peace in less than 300 pages. Being a person who likes to read. After getting it, I could not put it down. For a foreign writer whose native is non English it made this American proud to see his mastery of language and skilful use of short chapters and easy read. I recommend this to Jews, Christians and Muslims alike to read in search of peace.”
A Jewish professor wrote about this book:
“I have actually heard the “Israel itself is Moshiach” idea before this book appeared, in fact, a long time ago The concept of the Jews themselves being Moshiach is a variation of the “Messianic Era” belief, held by some streams of modern Judaism, in which Jews themselves will bring in an “Era” of peace, rather than simply focusing on one human “Moshiach”. While I hold with the belief that we are awaiting a human Moshiach, the descendant of King David, I will not call the other streams of Judaism “wrong”, that believe in a “Messianic Era”, since they are also following Torah.
“Does the book promote Christianity? No.
Does the book promote “Messianic Judaism” (just another form of Christianity)? No.
Does the book promote JC as divine? No.
Does the book promote JC as “Moshiach, and soon-coming King”? No.
Does the book promote following Torah? Yes.
Does the book promote a view already present in traditional Rabbinic Judaism? Yes.
So I am reading it. I find that it shows up the stupidity of Christian teaching and views of JC–and supports a mainstream Jewish concept of Moshiach.
It’s my duty as a professor to keep an open mind, and have an informed opinion. I also feel it is my duty as a Jew to do so.
This book squashes traditional NT Christian interpretation even more than I thought it would. I can just about guarantee you all that you have never read a book on JC before, like this, that condemn Christianity so fully, from Christianity’s very earliest beginnings, and that uses JC’s own words to do so. I was very impressed”
I sent you a request for the pdf. I can only see where the Holy Spirit is the title deed for the land called Israel of which any individual can be and not the so called state of Israel that has been made. Yet and still I also have a friend who said that the true Creator, did not write the Bible. In mine and her discussions, I made a comment that my walk started out without the Bible, and et many things of the Bible I have been given, by going within. Many of which agree with what the writer of this blog shares. We have an inner man and an outer man, of which lies the saying the lion will lay down with the lamb– the lion is king over the flesh and the lamb is a priest over the spirit..we are all potentially Israelite’s.. It seems to be more about the oneness of the One, and timelessness in my experience, of which has been in prayer and a NDE., both of an experience of PURE unadulterated love, joy and peace. You speak of YHVH as the name and yet I researched and found the letters IAUA on the High Priests head gear, which was worn once a year. Why did I look for that? Because within I heard the name and yet seen an I thus finding IAUA, of which AU is the periodic element for gold. The pronunciation was ee ah oo ah, yet when slurred as spoken was likened to Yahuah. Yet again, the first rendering of Hallelujah was alleluia, thus having the “A” as the first and last, and from the old Hebrew was likened to “A” being the strong leader. But will thank you for your share, and I will wait for your PDF.
Christianity is the most evil religion in the world and yes Jesus words absolutely do condemn it fully. What Christianitt has done is it has taken the Jesus of the gospels and shaped him into something he is not. I believe the Bible is one big parable about Jesus that the rules of this world created and I think they may have figured out “if we apply the great teachers method of teaching is parables ourselves and use it to teach about him we can control them. For just as Jesus said of them who heard his parables they will see and hear yet not perceive and understand, the same thing will happen to those who read about him.”
If you add things in The OT and you also add in Paul yet leave Jesus words true to refute all the rest you have a big book that’s really just one big paralbe where the code truth is right in the middle relayed by the books central figure. It would be brilliant to do that really.

The Tetragrammaton, or 4-lettered name of God, in Hebrew, is Yod–He–Vav–He, written from right to left, and the ‘yod’ can stand for an ‘I’, ‘Y’, or ‘J’, in Hebrew; thus: IHVH—-or—HVHI, more correctly. The Tetragrammaton is usually interpreted to mean “I am that I am” . Though, as a further delineation of the “word” The letters of the Hebrew alphabet also have numeric and other correspondences. ‘Yod’ in the number 10, and a hand or fist “in the act of taking,” and has the vowel sounds i or y. ‘He’ is the number 5, and represents a “door or window,” and has the sound of h. ‘Vav’ is the number 6, and represents a nail, or tool; with the sound of either u or v. You are correct, there are no vowels in Hebrew, only vowel sounds for certain letters. However, now they have added Masoretic points and diacritical marks to indicate the correct pronunciation. Ancient Hebrew can be read and spoken several different ways… Therein is a very powerful secret indeed!
Well, I appreciate you time and friendship. As an interesting thing to offer. write the Name of God in Hebrew vertically. Yod on top, then He, then Vav, then He. White it in full Hebrew, NOT THE “SIMPLIFIED” Hebrew… What does that look like???

This truly makes no sense and I mean no offense but I am being genuine. For Jesus says “Though you are evil who among you would give any son who hungered and asked for a piece of fish and bread would give him and snake or stone to eat? If you who are evil would not do this know my Father who is good only gives good gifts to all that ask.
Jesus is talking about the account that begins in Numbers 11. There YAWEHs child Israel hungers in the desert and says We remember the fish we ate freely in Egypt. Later in this same account YAWEH has Moses strike the rock so water may come forth to drink. After this some chapters yet still in the same account Israel says We grow tired of this light bread that spoils daily. Can we not even get full bread? You have brought us out here to die.
YAWEH then sends fiery snakes to bite and kill them. YAWEH gave a stone and a snake for fish and bread and Jesus is illustrating that his Father would not do this. Jesus says he is in the bosom of the Father. The bosom is well the soul is. I am the human soul of the Father who was made flesh.
Jesus says Moses gave you not that bread from heaven to the Jews who say there fathers are mann in the desert after telling them their father’s are dead.
He then says My Father gives the true bread come down from heaven. I am the true bread come down from heaven that is the bread of life.
The nature of YAWEH is to return evil for evil. Jesus said overcome evil w/ good. YAWEH is able to send out the death angel, the destroying angel to Egypt because YAWEH is bound by the principle kingdom teachings of Satan not being able to cast out Satan. Because YAWEHs power is of Satan. This is how he is able to send out lying spirits as well. Because he has power of demons. The Father and Jesus do not work with Satan and his demons and Satan does not do their bidding either. For if either side does they divide their kingdoms against themselves.
YAWEH is the devil. The mercy seat shows YAWEHs true nature of murder for one will die if they even stand before him less they go through specific rituals. Blood rituals. Fire, smoke, heat and darkness are all around him. He lives shrouded in great thick darkness. He kills children in mass and tells Israel to invade lands and claim them and kill all in them. That is literally killing, stealing, destroying.
