The Firstfruits Rapture Timing Predicted By Pattern

The 10th Day of Nissan OR Literal Feast Day

The NEXT Nissan 10 – Thursday April 10th 2025
OR The Feast of Firstfruits – Monday 14 April 2025

Jesus was a perfect pattern of the Passover Lamb, and in the exact same way, His Bride will be Set Apart on the same date – 4 days before Passover.

1. The Passover lamb was to be chosen and set apart on the 10th day of the first month of Nissan.

Fulfillment: On the 10th day of Nisan, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the foal of a donkey and was hailed as the King of the Jews.

2. The lamb was to be inspected for four days until the 14th day of the month for any spot or blemish that might disqualify it as the sacrificial lamb.

Fulfillment: Jesus openly taught in the Holy Temple and synagogues until the 14th day of the month and no fault could be found in Him.

3. At the appointed time, the Passover lambs were slain by the whole congregation of Israel.

Fulfillment: Jesus, the Lamb of God, was delivered and publicly killed on a Roman execution stake as the Passover lambs were being slaughtered.

The total time of the Great Tribulation spoken of in Scripture is 1260 days. The 70th week of Daniel has already been fulfilled in Jesus but will see a symbolic fulfillment as well. If you recognize the fact that the 7th Trumpet makes its final blast on the Day of Trumpets you should also be aware that the 1260 days of the Great Tribulation began on the 10th day of Nisan, 3 and 1/2 years earlier. What is the importance of the 10th day of Nisan?

In the 12th chapter of Exodus Yahweh instructed Moses that on the 10th day of the 1st month (Nisan) he was to take an unblemished male lamb of the 1st year and separate and watch over it for 4 days. On the 14th the lamb was to be sacrificed and its blood struck upon the side posts and upper door post of the house in which it would be eaten. That night, the 15th of Nisan, the Death Angel passed over the houses of the Israelites protected by the blood. Hence the “Passover.”

Jesus fulfilled the pattern of the “sacrificed lamb” in giving His life for each of us His children. Jesus entered Jerusalem on the 10th day of Nisan to acclamations of “Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.” Hosanna has a Hebrew origin in the word “yasha” meaning “to be open, wide or free.” It is often translated “save now.” It could just as well be translated “free now.” In Psalm 118 you will see that context. Verse 14, “The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation (deliverance). Verse 19, “Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord.” Verses 25,26, “Save (free) now, I beseech You, O Lord:….Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord….”

Jesus was crucified on the 14th of Nisan, as the lambs were being sacrificed for the Passover meal some hours later on the 15th. Jesus was taken down from the cross as the 14th day closed and was buried to rise again, the “firstfruit” from the dead on the 16th of Nisan. Luke 24:7 “Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”

The 10th of Nisan is a compelling date for the Firstfruits Rapture as a fulfillment of one of Scriptures most exciting patterns. After their servitude and bondage to Pharaoh, the Israelites, led by Moses, were set free to journey to God’s mountain, Mt. Sinai, and ultimately re-enter Canaan from whence they had come 430 years earlier. Because of their rebellion their journey was extended by 40 years of testing in the wilderness. Finally, on the 10th day of Nisan the Priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant stepped down into the swollen Jordan river. As they did the waters “rose up upon an heap”, that is the Jordan dried up allowing the people to cross over on dry land.

The FirstFruits Could Be Taken On The Feast of Firstfruits – 3 Days After Passover.

The Feast of Firstfruits was a festival commanded by the Lord that took place within the Passover celebration. One of seven feasts of the Lord, the Feast of Firstfruits was celebrated on the sixteenth day of the Jewish month Nisan, two days after the Passover festival began (roughly late March to early April). The Feast of Firstfruits served as a reminder to the Israelites of God’s provision in the Promised Land. Ultimately, the Israelites were to acknowledge that God had rescued them from slavery in Egypt and provided them a place to live and grow crops (Deuteronomy 26:1–11).

As its name suggests, the Feast of Firstfruits required the Israelites to bring “a sheaf of the first grain” they harvested each year to the priest (Leviticus 23:10). A sheaf is a bundle or a cluster of harvested grains. The priest would then take the sheaf and wave it before the Lord the day after the Sabbath. On the same day, all the Israelites were to sacrifice a year-old lamb without defect as a burnt offering and give a food offering of grain, oil, and wine (Leviticus 23:11–13). The Israelites were not allowed to eat any of the crop until the day the first portion was brought before the priest. The firstfruits belonged to God, and the people of Israel acknowledged God as the source of their crops and their provision overall (Leviticus 23:14).

Seven weeks after the Feast of Firstfruits, the Israelites celebrated the Feast of Weeks, one of the three “solemn feasts” that required all Jewish males to travel to Jerusalem (Exodus 23:14–1734:22–23Deuteronomy 16:16). What’s interesting about these three major feasts is that each required the “firstfruits” to be offered at the temple, but for different crops. The Feast of Tabernacles involved offering the first of the olive and grape harvests. The Feast of Weeks involved offering the first of the wheat harvest. And the Feast of Firstfruits (within Passover) specifically involved offering the first of the barley harvest.

Because barley is a lighter grain that ripens more quickly than wheat, it was the “first of the firstfruit” offerings in the Jewish calendar. In other words, the Feast of Firstfruits marked the first harvest of the year, heightening the symbolism that reminded the Israelites of God’s provision. The first thing the Israelites did after a long and laborious season of growing crops was express their thankfulness to God for meeting their needs. And because ancient Israel was an agriculturally based society, the Israelites were acknowledging God’s provision for both their food and their income.

Like the other Jewish feasts in the Old Testament, the Feast of Firstfruits prophetically foreshadowed the coming Messiah and His ministry. In 1 Corinthians 15:20, Paul refers to Christ and His resurrection as “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” Just as the first portion of the harvest in the Old Testament anticipated the full harvest still to come, Jesus’ resurrection anticipated the full resurrection to come for all those who are in Christ. His resurrection signals the very beginning of a brand-new creation promised in the Old Testament (Isaiah 43:18–1965:17). Similarly, in Romans 8:23, Paul says that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the “firstfruits” of the redemption God will bring to His creation.

For the ancient Israelites, the Feast of Firstfruits during Passover was an opportunity to show thanksgiving to God for all the ways He provided for them. For believers today, it is a foreshadowing and reminder of what Christ has done in redeeming creation and what He will finally do when He returns.

The Return of Jesus For His Bride

Each of us are or have been in bondage to Pharaoh (Satan) living in Egypt (Satan’s kingdom, the world). Moses, a type of Jesus, sets God’s people free, leading them towards the Kingdom of Heaven, the land of Canaan. After a symbolic 40 years of testing in the wilderness of this world we finally have the opportunity of “crossing over” into the Heavenly Kingdom, and that without touching or experiencing death (Jordan dried up). The Jordan River comes forth from high in the mountains of Lebanon feeding into the Sea of Galilee (the nations). From there it flows into the Dead Sea (Hell), the lowest place on earth. Jordan means “descender” and types “death.” Jesus was immersed in Jordan (death) that we need not die. He took death upon Himself that we might have life.

Josh. 4:19 And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.

Presently we see the fulfillment of the 70th week in type as beginning on the astronomical Day of Trumpets. We would then be in a period of 3 and 1/2 years of preparation for the Great Tribulation. Jesus is giving each of us an opportunity to buy from Him “gold tried in the fire”, “white raiment” and “eyesalve.” (Rev. 3:14-22)

ONE OF THESE YEARS, 4 days before Passover, we will suddenly be missing 144,000 men from the earth. If I would guess, they are all probably pretty reclusive types – not being polluted by this world system.

The reward that these special men have in store for them after they are raptured out of here? They are refitted with upgraded immortal bodies and then get to MARRY JESUS as The Bride of Christ, then back here to earth on a special assignment.

Isaiah 30:19 People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” 22 Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you!”

The Bride of Christ is sent back to earth for the duration of the 3.5 year Great Tribulation TO GUIDE THE CHURCH into truth and teach them how to “throw away your silver covered idols and gold covered images (orthodoxy) like a menstrual cloth”.

It’s not too late for you to join this group – but the time is getting short.
