Man/woman are made up of 3 parts: Body, Soul, Spirit
1) Physical body – to transport your spirit (the REAL YOU) around earth in order to learn your lessons. (Mortal)
God designed this rock and roll body for us to be able to cruise around this earth plane and LEARN OUR LESSONS. He wants us to GROW UP. He demands, through His gift of PAIN, for us to STOP MAKING WRONG DECISIONS, and instead, begin making sound, wise, mature decisions in your life, thereby AVOIDING the booby trap of pain.
This is growing up. This is maturing. This is why you MADE A PACT in order to be able to come here and be present in your current incarnation.
2) Soul garment (Mortal):
Eze 18:20 The soul that sins, it shall die.
To me the Soul is just about the most complex of all “spiritual” subjects. It has much to do with feelings and emotions and …. Well, let’s just say that being male, these are some of the subjects that I’m the most fuzzy about. Talk about body, or spirit, and I’m right there. Talk about the soul, and I kinda go into a blank stare.. haha… I try. I’ve not given up. I WANT to connect to that side of myself. But I find that brutal, grinding thought and simple logic are so much more fun 🙂
a). The general interface between flesh and spirit.
How I understand it, this is what “flavors” your life. It is what makes you choose who you are, in the flesh, based on the decision, conscious or unconscious, by your spirit, the real you.
b). The recording device for every aspect of your life – words, feelings, biology and more.
Every aspect of every moment of your life is being recorded – I mean EVERY aspect. In this moment what are you feeling?:

3) Your spirit – birthed eons ago. (Immortal)
John 4:24 God is spirit. John 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh and Spirit gives birth to spirit. When God reproduces, He produces spirits, like Himself. Listen to the various titles earned by our Father, The Lord Jesus Christ:
Isa 9:6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
EVERLASTING FATHER, Prince of Peace.
He gave birth to your spirit. Your spirit, the real you is ETERNAL. YOU ARE A SON/DAUGHTER OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ, God of God’s and Lord of Lords!!!
Find out about the REAL you, the spirit burning in your chest right now at 98 degrees.
And consider carefully the agreement you made with Daddy before he handed you the keys to the sports car body you are rocking these days.
He is hoping that you will make daily progress towards becoming the person that He KNOWS that you can become.

They have only TWO ways to communicate with Almighty God – Body and Soul. There is a whole realm that they can not even imagine exists – the silver stand that keeps you always connected to your Father in heaven by SPIRIT. His enablement is activated when this communication is in sync with each other
They don’t have a spiritual bone in their bodies!!! They are spiritually neutered. Spirit SCARES them. And when I mention John 4:24 or John 3:6, they recoil in terror and fear and accuse me of being a Mormon or JW or New Ager. Nothing could be further from the truth, but these wounded and confused little soldiers of lies scurry. They are like flies, rushing to the dung pile, instead of bees, busily making sweet honey, which is available once one comprehends the idea that we are IMMORTAL SPIRIT BEINGS, every one of us birthed personally by Jesus.

***Certain Teaching declare up to 12 parts or “bodies” of the human being:
Heart, mind, body, soul, spirit, psyche’, the astral body, the etheric body, the vital body, and 3 others which remain secret…
You expressed certain confusion at the term “soul.” Well, you’re not alone! For whom can l;locate it within the body? Whom can define it to everyone’s satisfaction? Whom knows they even have it beyond doubt and according to science?? Certain doctrine says that the soul of man/women in the animating factor or force within the body.
*The body is the current vehicle.
*The soul is the animating force.
* The spirit if the sacred spark of divinity within each.
Now, if we get really deep, at least in the Hebrew teachings and Qabbalah, which I reference here because I assume it jives with Christianity and your own beliefs, we have the following:
In the Qabbalah, etc.., the soul itself has several parts:
1. The Nephesh, corresponding to the animal and automatic levels of consciousness.
2. The Neshamah, a higher aspect of the soul, corresponding to the higher Genius.
3. The Chiah, “life” the essential energy of dynamism, corresponding to the true Will.
4. The Yechidah, the highest aspect of the soul, the spark of divine light at the center of the Self…
***There are 3, (and probably more) more parts, which are kept secret…
You said there are 2 ways to communicate: body and soul.
Do not our spirits, characters, mentality, deeds, loves, emotions, intentions, thoughts, words, and much else all communicate??? Not only with each other but with the Lord??
“Silver Strand,” a connection indeed!!! And, thus, THE line of communication!!! This term is not a commonly known one… It is usually mentioned in more arcane works.. Interesting use here.
“Man became a living soul”. GOD formed man from the dust of the ground, [body] then breathed spirit into man’s body. Body + Spirit = Living Soul!
