Paul Defeats Jesus’ Physical Kingdom By Spiritualizing It Away
11 Instances of Paul’s Hijacking
The article argues that the Apostle Paul fundamentally altered Jesus’ original message by spiritualizing the concept of God’s Kingdom. Instead of preaching a literal, physical kingdom on Earth (as Jesus did), Paul transformed it into a metaphorical, spiritual reality, effectively hijacking Jesus’ teachings to fit his own theological framework. This shift, the article claims, led to a divergence between Jesus’ apocalyptic vision and Paul’s mystical, inward-focused Christianity.
Key Arguments
1. Paul’s “Spiritualization” of Jesus’ Literal Kingdom
The article presents 11 key examples where Paul reinterprets Jesus’ physical, earthly kingdom as a spiritual concept:
-
Spiritual Sacrifices (Romans 12:1)
-
Replaces literal sacrifices with metaphorical “living sacrifices” of believers’ bodies.
-
-
Spiritual Kingdom (Colossians 1:13)
-
Transforms the kingdom from a future political reality to a present spiritual state.
-
-
Heavenly Throne (Ephesians 2:6)
-
Moves the kingdom’s throne from Earth to “heavenly places.”
-
-
Spiritual Leaven (1 Corinthians 5:7)
-
Reinterprets leaven (a literal Jewish symbol) as a metaphor for sin.
-
-
Spiritual Circumcision (Romans 2:29, Colossians 2:11)
-
Replaces physical circumcision with “circumcision of the heart.”
-
-
Spiritual Temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)
-
Shifts focus from a literal temple to believers as “God’s temple.”
-
-
Spiritual Warfare (Ephesians 6:11-12)
-
Changes literal battle imagery into a fight against “spiritual wickedness.”
-
-
Spiritualized Ordinances (Colossians 2:9-23)
-
Declares Old Testament laws (dietary, festivals, Sabbath) as mere “shadows” fulfilled in Christ.
-
-
Spiritual Land (Hebrews 12:22)
-
Replaces the Promised Land with a “heavenly Jerusalem.”
-
-
Spiritual Seed (Galatians 3:29)
-
Redefines Abraham’s descendants as spiritual heirs (Christians) rather than literal Israelites.
-
Spiritual Immortality vs. Literal Death
-
Jesus promised literal immortality to followers (John 8:51, 11:26; Matthew 16:28).
-
Paul contradicted this, teaching that all must die (Hebrews 9:27).
2. Paul vs. Jesus: A Fundamental Conflict
-
Jesus’ Message: A literal, imminent kingdom where followers could escape death (Matthew 16:28, John 8:51).
-
Paul’s Message: A spiritualized kingdom, delayed to an indefinite future, with believers dying before its fulfillment.
-
Orthodox Christianity’s Response:
-
Dismisses Jesus’ literal promises (e.g., “never taste death”) as metaphorical spiritual survival.
-
Favors Paul’s “born again” theology over Jesus’ physical resurrection hope.
-
3. Implications of Paul’s Spiritualization
-
Undermines Jesus’ Original Teachings:
-
Jesus spoke of tangible, earthly transformation (e.g., immortality, a physical kingdom).
-
Paul’s version makes Christianity abstract and otherworldly.
-
-
Creates a Disconnect with Judaism:
-
Jesus upheld Jewish law and prophecy (e.g., Sabbath, Temple, circumcision).
-
Paul abolished these in favor of spiritualized replacements.
-
-
Leads to Theological Contradictions:
-
Jesus: “Whoever obeys my word will never see death.” (John 8:51)
-
Paul: “People are destined to die once.” (Hebrews 9:27)
-
4. Conclusion: “Paul’s Gospel vs. Jesus’ Gospel”
The article concludes that Paul’s teachings represent a radical departure from Jesus’ original message. By spiritualizing the Kingdom, Paul:
-
Diminished Jesus’ apocalyptic urgency.
-
Replaced Jewish covenantal promises with abstract theology.
-
Invented a new religion (Pauline Christianity) that contradicts Jesus’ words.
Final Quote:
“Paul taught a very different gospel than Jesus did. Jesus delivered to us words of spirit and life. Paul gives us the deceit of demons.”
Key Takeaway:
The article presents a sharp critique of Paul, accusing him of distorting Jesus’ message by spiritualizing the Kingdom, thereby erasing its literal, earthly fulfillment. This, it argues, led to a false Christianity that ignores Jesus’ true teachings.
(11). The subject that Jesus spoke about, perhaps more than any other, is that if you follow His words, you will never taste death, and become an immortal, like He was. John 8:51 “Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”
Orthodoxy chimes right in with a big, wet blanket on those words. “Oh no, He REALLY MEANT Spiritual Death, because once I have my “born again” ticket punched, it’s smooth sailing to my mansion in heaven that Jesus went to prepare for me.”
I can only ask if we can allow Jesus to say what He means and mean what He says? Or do you Pharisees need to ALWAYS correct The Author of Life? There is probably no subject that He spoke more often often about than immortality in human flesh, here and now. On this subject whether we must die or if there is an option for immortality, here is the verse that almost every Christian can quote, and does so regularly:
Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.
But I don’t know of any Christians who would quote one of these following verses, where in all 4 gospels Jesus directly contradicted the quote above.
ALL 4 GOSPELS AGREE:
John 11:26 whoever lives by believing in me will never die
John 8:51 Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death
Matthew 16:28 Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.
Mark 9:1, Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.
Luke 9:27 Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.
John 21:22 22 Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you“?
Paul taught a very different gospel than Jesus did. Jesus delivered to us words of spirit and life. Paul gives us the deceit of demons.

Powerful exposure of Paul’s lies and deceit and how he spiritualized everything and brought such great confusion at the same time trying to make everybody feel like he was the guy that was bringing in the real gospel, at the time Satan was secretly working through his manipulative words and ways to deceive those who would read and believe his lying stories. For some it takes many years to break free of the false teachings of Paul but once you breakthrough the deceiving spirit that they have in them because they accepted Paul in his words then they can be set free thank God for your ministry keep going keep learning God will give you more God bless you please get in touch with me.
