Who Is The Man of Lawlessness?
Christianity has been mongering the identity of this man for hundreds of years. In the past few decades their candidates have ranged from Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Prince Charles and not the least of course is Obama and many other notable personages. What the Christians have failed to understand concerning the ‘man of lawlessness’ is that he leads an apostasy from the Truth not democracy. He is a man with heretofore unheard of influence within the sphere of Christianity. He is deep within the psyche of Christianity and his doctrines permeate as well as thoroughly leaven the true gospel of Yahshua the Messiah.
NOTE: Most Bible scholars agree that Paul did not write 2 Thessalonians.
2Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
The word ‘sin’ should have been translated as ‘Lawlessness.’ In all of the Greek manuscripts it is the word ‘Anomia’ which strictly means ‘without Law or Lawless.
However the most misleading mistranslation is in the next verse 2 Thess 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The word Called here is ‘Lego’ and it means ‘To say or to speak.’
So properly this passage should read ‘Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that God has said, above all that God has spoken,…’
Paul states in Gal 5:1 that the covenant of Sinai was a ‘Yoke of Bondage.’
However God says the Covenant of Sinai was the Marriage Covenant with the House of Israel. Actually the Ten Commandments are the words of the Covenant. Just in passing, do you find it plausible that within 2 months after delivering Israel from the House of Bondage, from Egypt, that YHVH would turn right around and inflict another 1500 years of bondage upon the House of Israel? Or do you find it plausible that Marriage with YHVH is in fact bondage?
Paul states that the reason Yahshua came was to do away with the Law.
Yahshua said He did not come to destroy the Law or the Prophets.
Yahshua also said ‘His Words would never pass away.’
Solomon said ‘The Law/Torah is a fountain of Life. Pro 13:14
Paul said the Law was death, Rom 7:5
Paul also said that the Law is wrath or performs wrath. Rom 4:15
David said via the Holy Spirit ‘Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the Law of YHVH.
Pro 29:18 ‘…Happy is he that keeps the Law.’
Suffice that if in nothing else, Paul exalted his doctrine far above all that YHVH said concerning His Law, His Word. In many places Paul not only contradicts every book and writer from Genesis to John, from James to Revelation, but Paul goes even further than contradiction, in Romans and Galatians Paul blasphemes the Word of YHVH, blasphemes YHVH Himself. Paul exalts his ‘revelation’ infinitely beyond the teachings of Yahshua, in fact in all the Pauline Epistles Paul never once quotes Yahshua, not one time in all Paul’s writings is there even a reference to anything that Yahshua ever taught. Paul claims his ‘revelation is above and beyond reproach. So much so that he curses anyone who teaches anything different from his ‘revvy.’
Now included in those whom Paul has cursed is of course Yahshua the Messiah, Peter, John, James, Matthew, and every apostle of the Lamb, for each and every one taught and proclaimed a vastly different Gospel than did Paul.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is this ‘That God shall reign within you through the inborn word of truth. Hence, be quick to hear and obey…the inborn word of truth,…’
Read James 1:18-21 slowly…
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Notice that it is the ‘Implanted Word of Truth’ that is able to save your soul.
Contrast this with all the cheap and free salvation tripe from the Pauline hotline.
Now then Paul is the clear frontrunner for the ‘man of lawlessness.’ There is no one else that even comes close through out the past 2000 years.
Christianity through Paul has so muddled and polluted the true gospel of the ‘Reign of YHVH’ (or as phrased in the English Bibles ‘The Kingdom of God,’) That it has become unrecognizable. Christians has sent their versions of the Bible through out the world, however in most of them, the bibles that is, there is only the what they term the New Testament, new disciples are made to disparage the Words of Yahshua in favor of Paul.
Indeed at this time Yahshua’s Word is actually considered superfluous. Imagine that!
